Evaluation of Foreign Qualifications
In South Africa, foreign qualifications are evaluated by the Directorate Foreign Qualifications Evaluation and Advisory Services (DFQEAS) which is situated at the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). The evaluation process aims to inform a variety of decision makers, who are not knowledgeable about qualifications, and education and training systems of other countries of the most appropriate levels of recognition of the foreign qualifications in South Africa.
