Verification of qualifications
How do I verify learner achievements of qualifications?
For your own verification, e-mail your National ID number and full names to verifications@saqa.org.za. You will receive a transcript of all the information on your learning enrolments and achievements that is on the NLRD.
For verifications concerning a third party, an agreement needs to be signed first. E-mail: verifications@saqa.org.za for a copy of the agreement.
Evaluation of foreign qualifications
In South Africa, foreign qualifications are evaluated by the Directorate Foreign Qualifications Evaluation and Advisory Services (DFQEAS) which is situated at the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). The evaluation process aims to inform a variety of decision makers, who are not knowledgeable about qualifications, and education and training systems of other countries of the most appropriate levels of recognition of the foreign qualifications in South Africa. This service is conducted in line with the principles of the National Qualifications Framework and according to international best practice. Click here for more information.
