NQF at the Star Workplace Career Expo

The National Qualifications Framework(NQF) will be exhibited at the Star Workplace Career Expo, 19 – 21 March 2010 at the Coca-Cola Dome. Those attending the expo, including learners, careerists and unemployed people will have an opportunity to learn about the NQF and how it can help them to make good choices regarding learning. Career guidance initiatives currently undertaken by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) will also be explained to attendees. SAQA supports the idea that accurate and expert advice will ensure that learners will be sufficiently equipped to make informed decisions and assume greater responsibility for their career paths.

The NQF Advisors will also host two workshops on career planning and the NQF on the following days:

Friday, 19 March at 16h30 – 17h00
Saturday, 20 March at 15h30 – 16h00
Sunday, 21 March at 11h30 – 13h00

Background to SAQA:
