Shouldn’t Umalusi focus on the monitoring and evaluation of public schools?
According to Umalusi’s current mandate, it is required to deal directly with independent schools, particularly in regard to the promotion of quality improvement. Current legislation requires Umalusi to deal indirectly with public schools through the monitoring of PDEs.
