Our school has been participating in Umalusi’s processes since 2005.We are becoming frustrated with the delayed full accreditation roll out. Will we ever be fully accredited?
Your school’s frustration is understandable. The full accreditation roll-out was awaiting a ministerial process intended to determine (full) accreditation policy. This process is further delayed by current amendments to pieces of legislation which deal with the quality assurance landscape. Also, there are reported developments around the envisaged national inspection system and these developments are likely to affect the current discourse of full accreditation.
