What will happen to schools who do not submit their annual monitoring reports?
Their provisional accreditation period will not be extended and the schools will be deemed to be unaccredited. Such schools will also be reported to the Head of Education Department in their provinces. As per our discussion with PDEs, Umalusi and provinces will collectively ensure that independent schools comply with relevant pieces of legislation.
