Are occupational awards on NQF level 6 or 7 called a diploma or a degree?

If there is an occupational award registered on the NQF at level 6 or 7, for example, will it be called a diploma or a degree?

No. The three linked frameworks all have their own specified nomenclature. The OQF only certificates National Occupational Awards and National Occupational Skills Certificates. So, although the OQF spans all 10 levels, there can be no confusion between its qualification and, for example, a National Senior Certificate or a Degree.
