CHE
What is the best course / institution to apply to?
The HEQC does not rank institutions and programmes. Where and what to study is a decision you have to make for yourself, but there are various sources of information available that should help you in making your decision.
The CHE posts on its website (www.che.ac.za) executive summaries of institutional audit reports, which signal how each audited institution maintains quality in its three core functions – i.e. teaching and learning, research and community engagement.
The Department of Education puts on its website a Register of Private Higher Education Institutions.
However, there may be other considerations you wish to make, for example how you wish to study (full-time or part-time) or the kind of course you are looking for, in what geographical area you wish to study, do you want just a specific skill or a full qualification, etc.
