Moving from one higher education institution to another

If I move from one higher education institution to another, will my new institution recognise the courses or modules that I have completed in my previous institution?

This will depend on whether you meet the admission requirements of the receiving institutioins and the course of study you wish to pursue. Accreditation does not guarantee admission everywhere. However, providers may not refuse admission purely on the basis of a student having studied in a certain institution which they might perceive as being inferior.

Decisions about accepting a student or not must be in line with the institution's admission policies and criteria. If a student is refused admission on grounds other than these, she or he is entitled to seek formal assistance from the Constituency Affairs Directorate of the Department of Education.
